E-sports has grown from a recreational pastime into a multi-billion-ringgit entertainment industry in a remarkably short time. In Malaysia, that growth is clearly felt — from the active MLBB communities in every city to professional teams representing the country on the international stage. With interest continuing to rise, it's only natural that e-sports betting platforms must also evolve to meet the needs of an increasingly sophisticated Malaysian audience. That's where gem55 plays its part.
What sets gem55 apart from other betting platforms is the depth of markets we offer. It's not just simple match winner bets — gem55 provides over 20 market types for every major match, from map handicap, over/under kills, and first blood to individual-level MVP betting. This gives players who truly understand the game the opportunity to put that knowledge to work in a far more strategic way.
For MLBB fans — who make up a large part of Malaysia's e-sports community — gem55 provides full coverage of MPL Malaysia every season. Every match is listed with odds updated in real time, including live betting during the match. Imagine watching RSG MY and Todak face off in a semifinal series and being able to bet on every shift in momentum as it happens — that's the experience gem55 delivers.
Beyond MLBB, gem55 consistently lists Valorant, DOTA 2, CS2, League of Legends, and PUBG Mobile. For players who follow the international scene, this means you can bet on The International DOTA 2, VCT Champions Valorant, or CS2 Majors all from the same platform without jumping between multiple sites. That convenience not only saves time but also makes managing your betting bankroll a whole lot easier.
The technical side of gem55 is built with active esports fans in mind. The clean, responsive betting interface lets you view odds, select markets, and confirm bets in just seconds. Real-time notifications alert you when odds shift significantly or when new matches go live. And it all works seamlessly on your smartphone — anywhere, anytime.
For payments, gem55 supports all the most popular methods among Malaysians. Deposits can be made via Touch 'n Go eWallet, DuitNow, GrabPay, Boost, ShopeePay or online banking such as Maybank2u and CIMB Clicks. Minimum deposit is just RM 10, while minimum e-sports bets start from RM 5 — very affordable for players at all levels.
For new gem55 members, the e-sports first bet bonus gives you RM 50 in free credits once your first bet is confirmed. That means extra funds to explore different markets and try out betting strategies without too much financial pressure early on. On top of that, gem55's daily cashback programme also applies to e-sports bets — so even on a bad day, a portion of your losses will be returned the next day.
Safety and fairness are the top priorities at gem55. All esports odds are set independently based on market analysis, not external manipulation. The platform is secured with 256-bit SSL encryption and all financial transactions are processed with the highest level of security. gem55's customer support team is available 24/7 in Bahasa Melayu to assist with any questions or issues relating to your account or bets.

Game knowledge is your greatest edge. Use it wisely.
Every patch or game update can shift the balance of power between teams. Teams that adapt quickly to a new meta typically gain a significant edge in competition.
Some teams have a psychological edge over certain opponents based on past results — and that history is often not fully reflected in the odds on offer.
The absence of a star player or a last-minute lineup change can have a major impact on a team's performance. Check the latest news before placing your bets.
Live betting at gem55 lets you place bets once you can already see the momentum of a match. That said, don't let emotions drive your decisions — stick to your original strategy.
If you're an active MLBB player, start by betting on MPL matches — your knowledge of the teams, players, and strategies gives you a significant edge over casual bettors.
Set a limit on how much you're willing to bet each day and stick to it. This ensures you can enjoy the e-sports experience over the long term.
